The Beauty Within.
Gentle child donÂt weep any more
IÂm here to heal your soul
People may say, as they may please
IÂll tell the truth for sure
No one can make you feel any less
You are worth more than all.
The purest of soul does rest in you
You have more beauty and no one knows
They may have eyes but they walk as blinded thieves
Hidden in them is the sin of deceit
With heavy hearts and bitter souls they carry on
You need not listen, do as you know better.
Never let their coldness harm your mind
They always feast on those precious tears
Give me these precious pearls to keep
Forever to be safe from the harm of their sneers
Now you soar over grounds that you have gained
DonÂt look back when you have come so far.
What was then will never catch up
So now they are left to dwell in the pain they caused
You will live on wise and well
Have by your side the true of heart that saw you even then
With no more rain to wet your day or bad winds coming your way
Only the sunÂs endless rays showering, as you go on.
