Slow Dance

Have you ever watched kids
On a merry-go-round?
Or listened to the rain
slapping on the ground?
Or little sparrows splashing
and bathing in the small puddles?

Ever followed a
butterfly's erractic flight?
Or gazed at the sun
into the fading night?

Ever stood on open grounds
To let the winds blow through,
Your hair?

When you ask
How are you?
Do you hear the reply?

When the night falls
Do you sleep with the next
hundreds of chores
running in your mind?

Ever told your child ,
we'll do it tomorrow ?
And in your haste,
Not see her sorrow?

You Better Slow Down.
Don't Dance So FAST.
Time is short and
the music won't Last.

When we run so fast
to get soewhere.
We miss half the fun
of getting there.
When we worry and hurry
through our day,
It is like an unopened gift.....
Thrown away.

Life is not a race.
Do take it slower,
Hear the music,
before the song is over.

We get one Life,
we live only once
So lets live it.
Happily and Lively.
