CROSSROADS AND VICTORY


The journey of life unwinds
And takes me to the crossroads
To the path untraversed thus far
The path that was till now unheard.

I have got to make the choice
As to which road to choose
On one road there is joy and success
On the other, there's lots to lose.

I can choose the easier path
And enjoy life everyday
Or take the longer difficult path
And mature and learn each day.

Though the choice is so tempting
Its the latter path that i choose
Want to learn what life has to teach
And i know there's nothing to lose.

The hardships will come up front
And hurdles too will come my way
But i will fight and win my freedom
Failed yesterday, but will succeed today.

The inner strength drives me on
To newer heights everytime
Can feel the courage seeping in
Can feel the strength buliding up each time.

I know that Victory will be mine
I am sure that i will make to the top
Yes the sun will glorify my glory
My hardwork will bear a rich crop.

I made my Destiny the day i chose
The path that was less traversed too
Today i hold my head high and walk
For i have made my dreams come true.
